Hayden Panettiere's Fiance Wladimir Klitschko Reflects on Baby's Birth
Not bad, Wlad! Hayden Panettiere's fiance Wladimir Klitschko has had an eventful 2014, with lots to celebrate going into the new year — including, most notably, the birth of his baby daughter earlier this month.
On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the 38-year-old boxer took to Instagram to reflect on all that has happened over the past 12 months. "A review on the year: The birth of my daughter, two successful championship defenses and many other achievements on the way," he wrote alongside a photo of himself wearing a shirt with the words "Failure is not an option" printed on the back.
"It was a great year and I'm looking forward to 2015," he added. "I'm ready to take on new challenges!"
As previously reported, the Ukrainian athlete and Nashville star Panettiere, 25, welcomed a baby girl together on Dec. 9. Little Kaya Klitschko weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 20 inches at birth.

"I've lived a very big life, and I don't feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother," the Heroes alum told Glamour in May 2013, a full year before Us Weekly broke news that she was pregnant. "Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life."
Kaya is the first child for Panettiere and Klitschko, who dated for two years before splitting in 2011 and then reconciling in 2013, when Us broke news of their engagement.
