Gigi Hadid Describes Pregnant Modeling as Much "More Tiring"
- While responding to a fan's question on Twitter about her recent pregnancy shoot, supermodel Gigi Hadid revealed that modeling while pregnant is "definitely more tiring than working normally."
- Hadid recently released a slate of black-and-white pregnancy portraits, shot by photography duo Luigi and Iango.
- She also previously revealed that she was a "few months" pregnant by the time she walked the runways during the 2020 Fashion Month.
Gigi Hadid is opening up about her pregnancy experience.
After releasing a series of artistic black-and-white pregnancy portraits earlier this week, the supermodel answered a fan's query about her modeling experience on Twitter.
"How was shooting with your baby bump for the first time?" the user asked.
"I loved it, I knew what I wanted from the pics and Gab and L&I really made it happen for me," she said, referring to photography duo Luigi and Iango, who shot the photos. "But was definitely more tiring than working normally. Got through the second look and was like ‘guys I think I can only do two more’ hahaaaa."
One photo shows Hadid draped in a floor-length dress while cradling her belly. Another photo captures her silhouette while she wears a sheer, bell-sleeved minidress.
In an Instagram live session with Maybelline this past May, the supermodel also revealed that she was "a few months preggo" during the 2020 Fashion Month, in which she walked the runways in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.
During the bulk of her pregnancy, Hadid has maintained a relatively low-key public presence, only occasionally talking with fans about her experience thus far. This will be her and boyfriend Zayn Malik's first child.
